Mosquitoes are one of the best-known pests in the world. Their bites are annoying and often spread diseases like the West Nile virus, malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, and encephalitis. They have a tendency to bite most at dusk and dawn.
Mosquitoes mostly feed on plant nectar however the female mosquito needs one blood meal to begin the breeding cycle.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Mosquitoes prefer stagnant water or soft damp soil as breeding grounds. Clogged gutters are a major source of mosquito breeding grounds in urban areas.
Inspect and either clean or have your gutters cleaned. Empty any receptacle that has standing water. Remove plant material to help dry out excessively damp areas of the yard. If you must be outdoors at dawn or dusk use a mosquito repellent that contains DEET. Wear long pants and sleeves during dawn and dusk. Make sure window and door screens are in good repair and fit properly.

Highly recommend this group!!! Within 24 hours of my “something stinks” panic call, one of the techs, Ronnie, was at our place taking care of the animals that found their final resting place in our vents… and patched it up so we wouldn’t have this happen again. On-time, efficient, and very knowledgeable!!
